Engagement Session at McKinney Falls

Okay wait – before you see just how gorgeous these photos are…I want you to guess how long ago these two met? I seriously bet you can’t.

Sydney and Marcus have twelve years of history together. TWELVE! They met in middle school and have been side by side ever since. To them, their relationship has always felt right even as middle schoolers! Being able to grow up together, face all of life’s new challenges, and build a new life together has been a blessing.

When talking about their story, this is what Sydney had to say:

“It funny because we look back on how this all started every now and then and one thing I remember is seeing him and thinking “yup I’m going to marry him one day.” I laugh because how did 12 year old me know that!? I like to think of our relationship as a book , I refer to our years as chapters when we get married we will be in chapter 13 and I’m super excited to see all it holds! We’ve gone through childhood , him joining the military, me going to college , deployments, first apartment, first pets , first home , and so much more ! Now here we are planning out wedding!”

You can tell how in love these two are with each other! They loved to laugh and were up for anything – our two favorite qualities in a session! We had so much fun at their engagement session at McKinney Falls. And we cannot wait for their wedding in May next year at The Alexander at Creek Road!! We were daydreaming about it and how beautiful it will be in May!
