Texas Hill Country Engagement Session

I’m absolutely going to tell you all about these two and their sweet love story. But first I have to just gush about how perfect this session was!

We were out first on Keaton’s family’s land and then back at their house with all of their adorable animals and pups! Everything was gorgeous, from just the setting itself and the light. It was truly a perfect hill country engagement session!

Okay cut back to the perfect meet-cute…!

I love the way Mary Kate puts it, “We are a bumble success story.”

Mk is originally from Missouri, but she’s always had a pull to Texas. She love the warm weather, southern hospitality, and the state pride. But she was moving to Texas in order to find her dream cowboy (as one does!) And there she met Keaton!

Their first date they went to dinner and to see one of their favorite old country band Shenandoah. After Keaton asked Mary Kate to dance to “I got you”, he asked if he could get a picture with her. He later told her he wanted that picture of our first date in case this went somewhere so that we could have the picture to look back on.

After that first date MK had a good feeling this was the real deal and they have rarely been apart since that first date!

These two live in Rockne, a small town close to Bastrop. Everyone calls Keaton “The Mayor of Rockne” he is very well known in our small town. And on their wedding day they’re inviting close to 800 people!! Keaton is 37 and apparently most people (him included) didn’t think he would ever settle down. So they want to have a huge party to celebrate their union!
