Pro tip for the very coolest Austin engagement session: get in the water!!

The first time we met Camille, she was telling me about her dream of getting engagement photos in the water! And that Gavin would be “totally into it too” (he was, don’t worry!)

We headed to our favorite secret spot…to have what we’d soon realize is one of our favorite sessions ever!!! 

I LOVE when our couples have amazing, creative ideas like this! Especially when it’s inspired all on their own, and it’s an adventure that feels true to them, it’s truly rewarding. It makes this dream job even more dreamy!!

These two have known each other since middle school! Sophomore year, they were in the same chemistry class, and on the first day Gavin sat down in the seat right behind Camille. 

When she turned around to look and see who it was, he made it very clear that he sat there so he could be near his friends, not to sit by her (Camille thinks he was trying to play hard to get).

After a couple of months of flirting back and forth and being lab partners, Gavin asked her to the movies. And just a couple of movie dates later, he asked her to be his girlfriend!

Camille said, “It’s still so surreal that I get to marry my high school sweetheart, and I can’t wait to start our lives together.”

She also told me, if she had a dollar for every time someone said something along the lines of “when Gavin and Camille finally get married…” she’d be a millionaire! 

Her hopes are that their wedding day is a big celebration with all of the people who have been waiting patiently for this day, but also of course a day that the two of them will cherish for the rest of their lives.

We cannot wait for their wedding day at Kendall Point either!! June cannot come soon enough!!
