Julie & Andy’s Cedar Skies Barn Wedding

Julie’s joint maid of honors stood in front of the room, recalling the day Julie first told them about Andy. They were all visiting Austin from Colorado, where they are from. They met through a mutual friend, and Andy told her he wanted her to stay.

So she did! She stayed an extra week, and was able to meet his entire family during her extended vacation. A week later when she had to go back to Colorado, Andy flew up too and got to meet Julie’s family! It was then they made it officially official!

Three and a half years later, and the way Andy looks at Julie is just so sweet. You can see how in love he is with her, and vise vera! Their first look moment was so beautiful because of it! Their entire Cedar Skies Barn wedding was just perfect.

When I asked Julie how she imagined her wedding day, she said peaceful, filled with laughter, happy tears and those closest to us. She said she was just excited to have everyone in one place and spend it with the ones they love!! And it certainly was exactly how she imagined it.

One of my favorite parts of their ceremony was that instead of the best man handing the rings off to the officiant, they had their mothers come up and hand them their rings. It was so special and a great way to honor their mothers, who mean so much to them both!
