Engagement Session at The Addison Grove

Trixia & Pierce’s engagement session at The Addison Grove has been one of my favorites from this spring! We had so much fun with them…! I love shooting at couples’ wedding venues because it doubles as a site visit! We were touring as we took photos and dreaming up what it would be like in just a few short months!

Trixia said she I imagines her day to be stress free! She said the most important to her is seeing Pierce at the end of aisle that day.

Especially him seeing her for the first time! That moment!

The Addison Grove has two beautiful spots for ceremonies, so we got to head to each one and check them out! They were between the two of them, but we decided based on the light and logistics which one would be the best fit! So that moment Trixia is so excited for will be perfect!

It’s my favorite thing when couples are down to just tool around, explore the space and take cute photos in between! These two really were naturals from the start!! It helped that they brought the perfect pairs of outfits too!!

It was a little drizzly the day of their engagement session, but Trixia & Pierce did not let it bother them in the slightest!! We whipped out our clear umbrellas and got the sweetest photos of them just strolling along…it was perfect!

These two really love the outdoors – hiking, fishing, camping, traveling, all of the above! So when rented a pick up truck on July 4th to take Trixia to see the fireworks she was none the wiser! He had a blanket and picnic all set up in the middles of farm fields watching the sunset. He proposed after the picnic and got to stay after and watch the fireworks! Sounds like a scene straight out of a rom com if you ask me!
