Our love for the waters point started back in May last year, and that’s when we met Chelsea! She’s the lead coordinator for The Waters Point, and when she got engaged last year we were so happy for her! And then when she said she wanted us to be her photographers, we were just over the moon!!! That means we get to go back and have their engagement session at The Waters Point! Yay!
Chelsea and Drew met on Bumble! The cutest thing: Drew said that when Chelsea matched with him, he got so excited he told his brother. A month after they met, it was an instant connection. They’ve been inseparable ever since.
The evening of their engagement session, the sun was out and the lighting was just gorgeous. It was just a beautiful day!
One of my favorite parts of The Waters Point is that it’s in the heart of Wimberly. So that means sprawling fields, and lots of wildlife! We always see a whole bunch of deer. It’s hard not to get distracted..! And next door, there’s a mini horse named Beautiful who is always a sight to see. He’s so sweet!
The Waters Point is right on the water, and it was the perfect time of year to get a gorgeous sunset! The sunsets on the water are simply beautiful!!
And Chelsea and Drew had no problem hopping right in the water, which made a perfect session so dreamy! Notebook vibes for sure.
We got to meet their sweet pup Molly too!!! She was such a cutie wearing a flower crown around her neck. We love having pups at sessions! Fur babies are an important part of the family, so they deserve their spot in the photos!
We can’t wait for their wedding day in November! Chelsea said she pictures everything as being very romantic and whimsical, filled with lots of laughter!! I’m so excited to see her vision come to life !
