La Bonne Vie Ranch Engagement Session

Keith & Kathy’s La Bonne Vie Ranch engagement session was our first since being safe at home during shelter in place! It was so nice for two reasons: to be shooting again + doing what we love. AND to get to see these two again and spend an evening with them!

We met Keith and Kathy last year and spent (another!) nice evening with them talking about what they pictured for their wedding day! Kathy has the biggest heart (it was so hard not being able to hug her at this session!! 😭) and when they were telling us about their venue, La Bonne Vie Ranch, I think we were all getting emotional!

Kathy said when she saw the chapel there for the first time, she knew it was the venue for them!!

I love shooting engagement sessions at our couples’ wedding venues because it doubles as a site visit! We were touring as we took photos and dreaming up what it would be like in just a few short months!

They said they imagine their day to be a magical loving day. A Disney Princess wedding! A couple after my own heart!!!

La Bonne Vie Ranch is a family owned wedding venue in Fredericksburg, Texas. It’s on 200 acres with lodging for most of Keith and Kathy’s guest list!

The most beautiful spot was the chapel! It’s open air with beautiful stained glass windows that go all the way to the ceiling! I can’t wait to take photos there again with these two as HUSBAND AND WIFE!! AH!

It’s my favorite thing when couples are down to have fun, do some silly things and take cute photos in between! These two really were naturals from the start!! And we were shooting all the way til the sunset!
