Springtime Vista West Ranch Wedding – Catherine & Will

There’s a certain special kind of love out there. The definite, immediate, comfortable, kind of love. And you don’t have to feel it to know it, sometimes you can see it. Take Catherine & Will. They met out country dancing, and slowly but surly fell right into place. All the pieces came together and they just clicked. It’s that feeling you just can’t describe but you know it when you feel it, and you know it when you see it. And you can definitely see it between these two. It was undoubtably in the air during their first look, where they were in tears, and so were AJ and I. We always talk about how much of a release of nerves a first look can be, and here it was in action.

Below is a poem called “I Love You” by Roy Croft. It was among a couple of poems read and their ceremony, and let me tell you, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

I love you, not only for what you are,
But for what I am when I am with you.

I love you, not only for what you have made of yourself,
But for what you are making of me.

I love you for the part of me that you bring out;
I love you for putting your hand into my heaped-up heart
And passing over all the foolish, weak things that you can’t help

To the new Mr. & Mrs. Dyess,

You two are some of the sweetest people we’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Your love for each other is so evident and you treat each other with such warmth and support. We’re so excited for where this new season of life is going to take you! We know nothing but the best lies ahead!
