I’m doing a happy dance over here because it’s finally time to share Amanda and Austin’s Canyonwood Ridge wedding day! WOO!

These two were meant to be married last September, but loving and compassionately decided to put their family and friends’ safety first and postpone. They still had a courthouse wedding on their original date, September 6th.

Friends, it could not have been a more gorgeous day – at the beginning of February no less! In September I’m sure we would have all been sweating…!

Amanda met Austin on the first day of her Sophomore year of college at the University of Oklahoma. It was his first day of freshman year. They were sitting outside their chemistry recitation classroom and Amanda noticed the boy in the purple dress shirt and navy bowtie (spoiler: it was Austin!) sitting down at the front of the class.

They became quick friends in Chemistry class. Then a couple weeks later after lab (adorable), he asked Amanda to his fraternity date party. The rest is history!! They’ve been together ever since.

And on their wedding day, Austin wore that same bow tie that caught Amanda’s eye years ago! Don’t worry, there were lots of jokes about how these two had chemistry. Ha!
