Bull Creek Engagement Session

Brooke & Jay

One thing you should know about Brooke & Jay is that when they’re not home, they love to travel! When we met up with them at Bull Creek for their engagement session, they had just gotten back from a trip to Vegas! They’ve been to Big Bend, New York, Nashville, Sydney, & Vegas in the last year and a half. And they’re going to Thailand, Bangkok, & Hong Kong for their honeymoon. Wow!

It’s even cuter then that they got engaged on a trip up to Oregon! They had spent the weekend going to wineries, Jay’s alma mater’s football games, and hiking at Crater Lake. One evening, they pulled into a lookout over the lake. Jay pulled out a dog collar that said “Brooke” on one side and “Will you marry me?” on the other.

Backstory is Jay hasn’t really wanted a dog since he travels. Brooke has a cat, Wesley, and has always wanted a golden retriever puppy!!

So with this dog collar, he was promising first – that they would get their golden puppy and second – spend their lives together!! Jay then pulled out the ring box and asked Brooke to marry him.

According to Jay, Brooke didn’t say anything at first… even though Brooke thought she was practically shouting yes!! So Jay said “Well…?” and Brooke finally said yes!

They’re getting married at Saddle Creek in July, and Brooke said she imagines it as fun and full of love. They want all of their family and friends to enjoy the day and have a great time with them! Most of all, they’re excited to have almost everyone close to them in one place to celebrate with us. Too sweet!
