In years past, an Austin fall engagement session would barely look like autumn at all! But with all of the rain we’ve gotten and such cool weather, the leaves have been gorgeous this year!!! This feels like the first real fall we’ve had in years – it’s incredible! I had trouble picking which beautiful tree to take Catherine and Harrison to! And some of them were already covered in little white lights. It was a dream!!!

The ATX perfect meet cute…

If we had our own version of Love Actually set in Austin, Catherine and Harrison’s meet cute would 100% be one of the storylines it followed. Allow me to explain: Our story begins with Catherine, out with friends. She finds herself where most Austinites do on a standard evening. At Chuy’s, probably during their free queso happy hour. Through the course of the evening, she became embattled in an intense “staring contest” (her words!) with her waiter. That, of course, was Harrison, and after being introduced by mutual friends and exchanging numbers that night they’ve been inseparable ever since! Plus, their go-to date night is a perfect reflection of how they met…margaritas and nachos all around please!!! It goes to show; the couple that Chuy’s together, stays together.

We are so looking forward to their wedding in the Spring!! It’s so fun going through the seasons (literally!) with our couples. These two were dressed for Fall, they’re totally getting a shout-out in our next style guide! It didn’t hurt that they had a super-cute leaf throwing fight as well. It’s especially nice when we can have their engagement session in a different season then their wedding, and neither of those seasons are hot Texas Summer! Antebellum Oaks in March is going to be absolutely gorgeous! Their wedding day is going to get here before we know it…we can’t wait!
