Welcome to the HMP blog, a journal to feature our couples and their love stories, our lives, travels, and ATX adventures! Stay a while and say hello!
First off, before we get into the weather, I have to say Rancho Mirando is one of my new favorite places! Leslie, the venue coordinator, she is just plain wonderful. I’m so happy Emily wanted to have her bridal session at Rancho Mirando!
I met Emily there at the beginning of March, along with her mom, Maid of Honor Nicole and Leslie! These three went above and beyond for emily during her bridal session! More on that in a bit.
The day before it was 75 and sunny? And that Monday there were freezing winds, like might as well have been hailing?
That was the day that we had Emily’s bridal session at Rancho Mirando scheduled. Long story short we could not reschedule. So the hand warmers were brought, the secret gloves on, and the pretty bridal heels were not included. Instead some warm boots and socks were adorned, and thank goodness!
Needless to say, Emily is a BOSSBRIDE. Because she still looked like an angel despite her basically toes freezing off! I will forever be impressed with her for it.
And now back to her squad, who helped her the entire time. Y’all saved the day!! Nicole, Emily’s mom, and Leslie were helping with her dress, keeping her warm, grabbing the bouquet, whatever was needed! It was awesome.
It almost felt like we were on a movie set (where Emily is the movie star, duh). And I would yell out “Cut!” and Emily’s squad would rush to her and move her along to the next cue.
I’m so happy that now that Emily is Mrs. Good (eek!) I can finally share her bridal session at Rancho Mirando with the world!!
