Jac & Kyle

We all know I’m a sucker for our couples’ love stories, and Jac and Kyle have the sweetest story. It spans multiple years, states, and countries!! Lemme break it down for you.

Their meet-cute was certifiably one in a million – they only met because their roommates were siblings (at schools in different states, mind you!) and they both got the invitation to go to the roommate family vacation as bring-a-friend plus ones!! Where was that vacation? CABO BABY!! Jac swears she barely noticed Kyle. In fact she said “He noticed me, and I noticed a break from nursing school in the form of a beach.” Hah!

She played it cool for the first few nights, and he noticed her intensity for triple-overtime basketball but Jac still didn’t realllly care… but then they shared a margarita (which he wouldn’t let her pay him back for!), and the following night got a lil’ snuggly watching the glowing plankton (did you also not know this was a thing!?!) off the Cabo coast. Jac still wasn’t all the way in, and they left the trip as just plain friends.

It ended up taking them staying in touch for a few months after, starting with texts, then calls, then Facetimes. Jac went to visit Kyle in Purdue. And they ended up sharing a kiss under a special Belltower there that, according to local legend, bound them together forever…! And finally after an 18 hour road-trip together, they finally decided to DTR.

Fast forward two years and Kyle was down on one knee under that very same Belltower, pledging his forever!! He made it down to Austin after school, and now they have a happy home in Round Rock with four little fur babies!! As Jac put it so well, “the rest is history!”

We had so much fun with these two and I cannot wait to do it all over again at Vintage Villas on the lake next year! 10/10/20 baby!!
