If we could relive this beautiful day over again – and dance the night away too – we so would. Plus – Camp Lucy is such a wonderful venue and we never wanted to leave!Â
Ashleigh & Connor
Believe me when I tell you Ashleigh and Connor are dancing machines and literally danced the whole night long! We love it when our couples are down to party!! It started with great energy in the getting ready rooms and they kept the energy up all. day. long. But it wasn’t all about partying – those good vibes extended into spending the day laughing together, and having fun with their bridal parties and sweet families!!
When Ashleigh got into her dress, everything just came together; it was perfect! Our hearts were racing leading up to the first look because we know Connor was going to be floored, and he was!! Their ceremony was gorgeous at Camp Lucy’s Sacred Oaks and the Texas weather was beautiful to match!
And as if the day couldn’t get any better, after their ceremony we were greeted by BEER DONKEYS!! Nothing gets me hyped on a wedding day like Ears with Beers and Carrie and Spirit (and their handlers) are always a pleasure to be around!!
Ashleigh and Connor got a well deserved 10-minute break from family photos just to pet the sweet donkeys! While it was hard to say goodbye to the donkeys to take some sunset portraits, but it was such a gorgeous evening that it was an absolute necessity!!
We got to twirl and rock with them for a few minutes lit by the best golden hour light ever! Just enough before it was time to head back inside and get the party going!
P.S. Stay tuned for their highlight reel coming so soon!!
P.P.S. Did you catch their engagement session at McKinney Falls State Park? You can see it here!! Including their session video..! It’s one of my favs!
