McKinney Falls Engagement Session

These two are pretty much the cutest.

Amanda met Austin on the first day of her Sophomore year of college at the university of Oklahoma. It was his first day of freshman year. They were sitting outside our chem recitation classroom and Amanda noticed the boy in the purple dress shirt and navy bowtie (spoiler: it was Austin!) sitting down at the front of the class.

They became quick friends in Chemistry class. Then a couple weeks later after lab (adorable), he asked Amanda to his fraternity date party. The rest is history!! They’ve been together ever since.

When it was time for Austin to propose, he told Amanda they were meeting a friend on campus and then going to brunch. They parked by the stadium and then walked through campus talking and reminiscing.

When they reached the outside the building where they first met, Austin paused. He turned around grabbed both Amanda’s hands and told her they weren’t really meeting friends for brunch…!

He then got down on one knee and proposed with a ring he had designed around the center stone from Amanda’s mom’s original engagement ring. Swoon! Both of their parents were hiding behind the library watching and Amanda’s best friend was hiding taking pictures. Then everyone all went out to brunch together to celebrate! Later that evening their families and friends met for dinner to celebrate once more!

We are so excited for their wedding at Canyonwood Ridge next year! Amanda said she imagines their wedding day being the happiest time in their lives spent with our closest family and friends. She said, “I want it to show the love and friendship Austin and I share.”
