Welcome to the HMP blog, a journal to feature our couples and their love stories, our lives, travels, and ATX adventures! Stay a while and say hello!
Oh McKinney Falls, it’s one of my favorite engagement session locations! Especially now when we have to be social distanced…it’s perfect! It definitely fit Katelyn and Sean’s vibe very very well. When we met up with them, they were just about to embark on a trip to Utah, passing through Palo Duro Canyon and Colorado! Earlier this year they had built a (super cute) tear drop camper that they were planning on staying in.
These two met while both going to UT. After meeting by chance the first time, they bumped into each other over. Finally one night, Sean was out celebrating his birthday and running into Katelyn again, decided it was time to make a move! Katelyn sealed the deal by showing him hundreds of photos of my her adorable dog, Sadie. (Take notes, ladies!)
They’ve now been together for five years! And in that time Katelyn graduated from UT and became an elementary school teacher. Sean returned to UT for his English teaching certification and became a teacher! They have traveled to some super cool places like Switzerland and the American West. And you cannot forget their adorable sweet pup they adopted named Huck!
One thing to know about Katelyn and Sean is they love adventure. That super neat camper they built was to give them the freedom and comfort of traveling the country without sleeping on the ground! To quote them:
“Seeing this beautiful world together has been such a gift and we love planning trips to see more of it.”
It was so hot this day at McKinney Falls! They are serious troopers because you cannot even tell! We were dreaming about their wedding day at Hotel Ella. Not just thinking about that pool and how nice it would be to jump in right now…but how it’ll be December and so nice and cool!
Here are some of my absolute favorites from their McKinney Falls engagement session!
