Andrew and Erin’s Mueller Lake Park Engagement Session in Austin, Texas

This Texas winter weather has been so unpredictable…it’s just about the only constant is that it’s not constant! When you’re planning on a February engagement session in Austin, you’ve just got to just cross your fingers and hope it’s not raining! Erin and Andrew live in North Carolina and were planning on flying into Austin for their engagement session. So needless to say we were so grateful that Sunday was sunny! A Texas miracle!!! We had the most beautiful sunset at Mueller Lake Park for their engagement session, with the dreamiest golden hour! The joyful, sunny weather matched Erin and Andrew’s energy for sure!

Erin and Andrew met in college at Texas A&M University during one of their shared classes. That fateful day, Erin was being socially antisocial sitting near people she didn’t know very well, quietly reading a book. Andrew (making the first move) came up to her and asked her about the book. She kind of brushed him off, but when his curiosity persisted, she told him about the series. Not long after that, they were trading books back and forth to each other, animatedly discussing details and in-jokes, as well as theorizing together what would happen next. And what happened next was their relationship growing. Their friends endearingly calling them “disgustingly cute”. And Andrew down on one knee. And now their wedding is coming up in just a few short months!
