Welcome to the HMP blog, a journal to feature our couples and their love stories, our lives, travels, and ATX adventures! Stay a while and say hello!
So what do you do when your wedding falls on Texas Independence Day? If you thought, duh, decorate it with all the beautiful and familiar Texas wildflower that pop up every spring! You and Meg are definitely on the same page!! When she told us about her vision when we met about a year go, I was so excited to see her vision come into place. She described it as colorful, magical, and a memory I will cherish forever. Needless to say, those florals and that vision delivered!
Meg and David are some of the sweetest, most welcoming people we have ever met. We had such a blast with them at their engagement session in the fall! When I asked Meg what she was most looking forward to about her wedding, she said marrying her best friend and making memories with my family and friends!
She said she got butterflies just thinking about it!!! I think that sums up Meg and her relationship with David to a T!
After their emotional first look, David got another surprise when Meg walked down the aisle! She had picked a special song that he didn’t know about, 500 Miles by Sleeping at Last. As we were watching Meg walk down the aisle, I heard two of her bridesmaids say to each other, “Is this the song? This is the song!!” All of this planning and anticipation came down to this time. It was such a perfect moment! You have to see how sweet and perfect their first look was!
