Makala and I go way back from college! She and I suffered through working retail together – at the outlets no less. There’s no better way to bond in my opinion!!!

Back in college is also where she met her now husband…! 

They met in a class they both took during their senior year at Texas State! They quickly became study buddies (adorable) and eventually it evolved into a romantic relationship!

Their proposal story is just ask cute!! Jeremy organized with both of their immediate families to travel down to the French Quarter in New Orleans. Makala had no idea and thought it was just a fun trip!! They were just strolling along, enjoying themselves.

Secretly, both of their families and friends were waiting up on a balcony overlooking the street. As they walked under the view of the balcony, Jeremy dropped down on one knee!! Then Makala got the perfect of Makala looking up to see both the families!! SO SWEET!

Both Jeremy and Makala were most looking forward to spending time and having fun with all their favorite people. Makala did the florals herself and in her words it was a “floral greenery magical love filled wonderland”!!!! They were so gorgeous and added to the beauty of their ceremony!

Mak & Jeremy: we are so stinkin’ happy for you two! Everyone could feel the love and support surrounding you and celebrating you. We wish y’all all the very best and know there are only good things ahead!!
