We’re always so happy to head down to San Antonio for our couples!! Summertime engagement sessions in Texas are both my favorite and then not so much. The colors are always so vibrant and beautiful, and brides-to-be get to wear their prettiest sundresses! But, as we all know too well they are hot, even in the morning! We met Callie & Rob bright and early at the San Antonio Botanical Garden for their engagement session, and I have to say they were such troopers!! As the temperature was rising, they had no qualms with being so cuddly with each other. We’ve never been before and it was so beautiful!
Right off the bat, Callie and Rob were so comfortable in front of the camera. There’s just something about affectionate couples that makes my heart skip a beat! Rob was constantly doting on Callie, kissing her hand and pulling her in close. And like I mentioned, it was hot, but they really didn’t seem to mind! I’ve got to admit, they made our job easy but more importantly they made it so fun!
We ventured all around the gardens, but the desert room inside the conservatory has to be my favorite!! It really looked like we had stepped into an Arizona desert. There were cacti that literally went up to the ceiling! The colors were so warm and Callie’s dressed popped in the best way!! We also discovered a little floor vent blowing cold ac (what what!!!) that was a very happy surprise and a perfect little break in the middle of our session!!!
To Callie and Rob: We had the best time getting to know you two! The love you share is so evident and we can’t wait to do it all over again on your wedding day. It’ll be here before you know it!!!
