Cue the cute puppy photos!
Emily and Eric first mentioned to us that they wanted their pup, CJ to be involved in their engagement session we were stoked!! We are very obviously dog people, and thought it was so sweet that they wanted to include their fur baby!! I’m a sucker for the “my parents are getting married!!” signs I sometimes see on Pinterest! And when they put just that sign over CJ’s head, I died!!! That paired with his little tuxedo…I can’t!! Luckily CJ’s aunt (and Emily’s future Maid of Honor!!!) was there to keep his attention with a b-a-l-l!!
My favorite type of engagement sessions are the ones with a healthy mix of laid back, true to life photos and swoon-worthy formal portraits at the end!!! Not only is it a perfect excuse to dress up and go out for a date night after – it’s about having those timeless portraits for the years to come! The thought of your grandchildren stumbling upon those photos one day and admiring how handsome and beautiful you looked is just amazing!!!! So, after Zilker and hanging with CJ, we went to one of my favorite photo spots to catch some golden hour magic!! And it really was magic!!

We feel so lucky that we’ve already met both Emily’s parents and your sweet pup CJ! We can’t wait to meet the rest of your loved ones and celebrate so soon! April will seriously be here before you know it!!
