For the first weekend in April on a Texas night, it was so, so cold. Way, way colder than expected. Everyone was huddled inside the cocktail hall, standing around tables, listening with rapt attention. Josh’s mother said, as she was toasting the happy couple, said that she wished them a fairytale. She said for each of her children, that’s all she had wished. To her, a fairytale meant living happily ever after, and that she knew Leanne and Josh were already living that dream. Josh later echoed that sentiment when he toasted to Leanne saying that he knew he had always been lucky, blessed with a loving family, but nothing in his life had been as lucky as finding her.
It’s important that we note, when we asked Leanne and Josh to describe their wedding in three words they said: “Party All Night.” In all caps, just like that. And let us tell you, they one hundred percent delivered. This was a group that danced like we’ve never seen, and literally all night! Everyone there for you was so eager to express their enthusiasm for the happy couple, and they did not hold back. Leanne and Josh personally closed the night out on the stage, looking like rockstars, singing along to a double-encore of Sweet Home Alabama (ROLL TIDE ROLL)!
To Leanne & Josh: Words can’t describe how grateful we are to have gotten to know you in this sweet season of your lives! You both are so gracious and generous, loving and patient, it was truly amazing to see you surrounded by so many people who love you and see the same thing in you. Watching you drive off into the sunset in your Chevy Bel-Air was almost bittersweet, because it meant the night was over. We know you have such a bright future on your horizon and we can’t wait to see you again!
