Wedding at Star Hill Ranch

Ever since our engagement session with these two earlier this year, we have been stoked for their wedding at Star Hill Ranch! This venue is so unique and cool. It looks almost like a movie set – with all the historic buildings it’s like a little town! There’s a chapel, a saloon, even an old “Drug Store”!

The best part about it – Lauren and Xavier met back in high school in the theater department! So the thought of their wedding venue being almost like a movie set was like full circle!! At their cocktail hour (in the old school house!) they had set up a bunch of old photos of the two of them from back in the day. It is so sweet seeing them through the ages and have it all culminate to this day.

Xavier’s old childhood friend and best man, James gave the sweetest speech during their reception. After telling a few stories about Xavier from way back, and the first time he met Lauren when Xavier brought her around for the first time. He talked about how amazing it is to have seen them grow up, and grow as a couple:

Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Vargas!! Thank you for being some of the most thoughtful, kind and generous people we have ever met!! Just like James said, y’all really are an inspiration ! We love y’all and wish you all the best for what lies ahead!
