When Rachel and Zach got out of the car for our afternoon engagement session, we were nothing short of blown away. Dang – what a sharp looking couple! We absolutely love it when our couples get dressed up for the occasion and they came out looking like the embodiment of class! They looked pretty much exactly how we recommend in our style guide, so it was pretty much a dream come true for us! We were so excited, it’s definitely a fantastic way to start any shoot.

From the moment that we started with them, we knew they’d be naturals. Without going into too many details – the pictures speak for themselves – the two were basically born models and nailed everything we threw at them. And they were even nice enough to laugh at AJ’s jokes the entire time!! The most important thing that we try to encourage in our couples is the ability to be natural and confident behind our camera, and these two were acting like they barely even knew we were there! Just look at how they look at one another!

St. Edwards is especially beautiful in the winter months, too. Sometimes it can be tough to find an outdoor space that doesn’t look too dreary in January, but St. Edwards with its nice clean, classic architecture and diverse field areas always makes for an easy shoot! The light was super dreamy too! The sunset came quick and went fast, but we definitely took advantage of it! I mean, look at that lift!!!

Rachel and Zach: Thank for getting dressed up to the nines and letting us lead you all around a campus y’all didn’t even go to! We had such a blast with you two and we cannot wait for your wedding day (and Rachel – your bridals)! It’s going to come so much quicker than you think!
