There is something just so easy breezy about Kelsey and Jake.
Being with them is so much fun. They fit together perfectly, they laugh at each other in sync, they effortlessly took our cues with no hesitation.
We traveled around South Austin for their engagement session. We started out at our favorite spot! It’s just the perfect mix of architecture and nature, and always pretty secluded!
Kelsey had three outfits because she knew it would make my day! Well no, but it definitely did make my day! They matched so perfectly and adorably!
One of my fav parts of working with AJ (there are about a million) is that our engagement sessions feel like a double date. It’s just the four of us joking around and having fun!
Obviously there’s a camera between us, but hanging out together the four of us is always so much fun.
AJ has the best sense of humor and is always cracking jokes to make the awkward parts not so awkward. Plus I get to mirror poses and things with him! 🙂
Not to mention photo-wise, the duo means it’s super easy to get lots of diversity!
This was especially great for Kelsey & Jake’s session. We were trying to fit three outfits and two locations around South Austin into our session, so we definitely had less time! BUT because I’m in front, directing Kelsey and Jake and snagging those shots. AJ is *hovering* (in a nice way), grabbing those candid moments and more ~creative~ shots!
It’s the perfect way to get in a lot of diversity and not feel rushed during out time together!
Kelsey & Jake,
We loved spending time with y’all and watching you dance in the sunset! We can’t wait for your wedding day at Red Ridge where we get to watch you dance as HUSBAND AND WIFE! What what! It’ll be here before you know it!!!
Which one of Kelsey’s outfits are your favorite? It’s hard for me to choose…but I think the second one! 🙂 Tell me in the comments!
If you like Kelsey & Jake’s South Austin engagement session, you’ll love Emily & Eric’s session, also in South Austin!
[…] wasn’t sure she wanted to even have them done. But I had this vision in my head of her at Circle C Park, and that they would turn out how they did. And she would look like a goddess, like mother earth […]
